FACILITIES & LOCATION
Situated in the leafy north London suburb of Hendon
The school provides a fantastic range of facilities to enhance pupils’ learning and experience. We have bright and well-resourced classrooms, complete with an ICT suite, dedicated Art and Design studio, music room, library and a fully equipped science laboratory.
A large playground and outside classroom give pupils much needed space for play and outdoor learning. With a planting area, amphitheatre, Astroturf football and netball pitch and giant chess board, playtimes are full of fun at Hendon Prep.
Besides using the wonderful playground for sports and PE lessons, the school also makes use of fabulous local facilities such as Poolside Manor Swimming Pool and Power League.

iRock Assembly Rocks Hendon Prep!🎸🎹🥁
On Monday, we were delighted to welcome the iRock School of Music team to Hendon Prep for a lively and inspiring assembly. Pupils enjoyed exciting live performances and discovered how much fun learning an instrument can be.
The iRock team explained how children can learn to play in a band, whether on keyboard, guitar, drums or vocals, while developing confidence, teamwork and creativity along the way. It was wonderful to see so many pupils fully engaged and eager to find out more.
The assembly created a real buzz around the school, with children talking enthusiastically about music long after it had finished.
If your child would like to take part in iRock lessons, please complete and return the information letter that was sent home with pupils as soon as possible. Early responses will help iRock organise groups and begin lessons promptly. A minimum of 15 pupils are required for them to teach at our school.
We look forward to seeing some of our budding musicians develop their talents and enjoy making music together in the months ahead.✨

Year 3 RE ✨
Year 3 enjoyed learning about the Five Ks, the five special articles of faith worn by many Sikhs. The children had the opportunity to try on examples of the Five Ks and learn about their meaning and importance within the Sikh faith.
They showed great curiosity and asked lots of thoughtful questions about why the Five Ks matter to the people who wear them. It was lovely to see them learning about different beliefs with such interest and respect.
