Growing minds, building futures
Pupils are encouraged to become more independent learners and take more responsibility for their work routines, as they transition from the Pre-Prep to the Prep at the start of Year 3.
We place great emphasis on practical learning and problem solving, encouraging pupils to be inquisitive, exploring topics to gain greater understanding and to think for themselves.

Inspirational Teaching
Topics are brought to life through inspirational teaching and extensive extra-curricular and co-curricular programmes. Whether it is a themed day, a visit or a workshop, physical experiences, and immersive learning help to fire the imagination and add an extra dimension to classroom-based learning.
Our small class sizes enable us to work with pupils as individuals, following their interests and their well-being. We see the breadth and depth of pupil achievements not only in academic results, but through the multitude of other interests which they pursue.
We adopt a Senior School model of teaching in our Prep, where pupils have a form tutor, who is responsible for pastoral care, and then pupils are taught by subject specialists across the board.
The children continue to make use of the art studio and music room, and from Year 3 upwards they also have their science lessons in our fully equipped Science lab.
Our aim is to broaden children’s horizons and develop their critical thinking skills. We offer them opportunities for personal growth and leadership development, encouraging them to find and follow their passions.

The considered use of technology, combined with the best mix of traditional and innovative teaching methods, underpins an approach which drives accelerated progress.
