The main aim of our Preschool is to provide a setting where the children feel emotionally safe and secure.
The Preschool environment is friendly, stimulating and nurturing and the curriculum is based around our unique EYFS PLUS model. This offers dynamic time-tabled activities which includes; Music, French, Foundation Sports and P.E, all delivered by our specialist subject teachers, plus age appropriate daily lessons in numeracy and literacy including pre-reading and pre-writing.
Children can join our Preschool at the start of the term in which they turn 3 years old in order to take advantage of our 2 year rolling curriculum. Our Preschool children are given first consideration for a place in our sought-after Reception class.

A DAY IN PRESCHOOL
Feeling valued, represented and challenged
Our unique EYFS PLUS curriculum ensures that every child in the Preschool feels value, is represented and challenged to meet their own unique potential.
Both the morning and afternoon sessions include group phonics and numeracy sessions, some time for free play, and adult-led activities and child-initiated learning. Each session incorporates a blend of communication and language development, social and emotional development and physical development. Sessions incorporate a wide range of activities and experiences, which change on a daily basis.
Lunch is included for all children and we also provide a nutritious, healthy snack during both the morning and afternoon sessions.

Engaging spaces for children to learn and develop
Our Preschool is a bright and stimulating learning environment which features distinct teaching areas for our younger children.
It has a dedicated reading area, a wonderful sensory space and a brand new kitchenette. Children are encouraged to explore, discover and investigate as part of their learning.
FEES
We offer full-time or part-time places
Children can attend any combination of morning or afternoon sessions (minimum of 5, subject to availability).
Morning sessions (8:30am-12.30pm)
Afternoon sessions (12:00pm-3:30pm)
All sessions include lunch and a snack
Fees are charged per school term and there are 3 terms per year. We also offer the government backed ‘15 free hours’ care per week, which in an independent setting is offered as a discount on fees equivalent to approximately £900 per term* and is applicable from the start of the term after the one in which a child turns 3.
